PSFU, UCDA Showcases Uganda’s Coffee in USA
PSFU in partnership with UCDA is showcasing Uganda's Specialty & fine coffees at the @SpecialtyCoffee Expo in Chicago, Illinois. The expo hosts over 300 exhibitors, including producers, equipment manufacturers, associations, & institutes from the coffee industry worldwide.
Over 10,000 buyers/trade/ industry experts in the USA. The Ugandan booth features 8 exporters, Mountain Harvest, Zigoti, ACPCU, The Edge, Coffee World, Chanzo, Kikobero, Gorilla Summit, Agri Exim; Ugandan farmers & Dr Kawuma Fred, author of "Is there poverty in your cup of coffee".
Uganda exporters are represented at the Agri Trade booth, hosting exporters and processors ~ JKCC , Mecca and Platinum Commodities.
This expo significantly impacts the coffee sector. Ugandan producers and exporters get to meet buyers, attend valuable trainings on coffee processing, certifications, and trade, and engage with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to enhance the value of Ugandan coffee.
