CALL OF APPLICATION FOR INDIVIDUAL EXTERNAL EVALUATORS TO ASSESS COMPANIES INTERESTED IN HOSTING GRADUATES UNDER THE WORK READINESS PROGRAM (WRP) OF THE WEWORK PROJECT
Background
The WeWork - green and decent Jobs for Youth project (2023-2027) aims to equip young people, particularly women, with the skills and opportunities required to secure sustainable employment in the green economy. Structured around two core pillars—Employability and Entrepreneurship—the project ensures that youth are not only trained but also supported in accessing decent jobs or starting their own businesses.
PSFU invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals to undertake comprehensive capacity assessment of companies interested in hosting/employing graduates under the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The evaluators will be responsible for conducting due diligence assessments of pre-screened companies and associations. The assignment will include the following key tasks.
- Assessment of Organizational Structure & Governance
- Evaluation of Financial & Operational Readiness
- Review of Work Environments & Compliance with Labor Laws
- Risk Analysis & Mitigation Planning
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:
Academic Qualifications
- A minimum of a master’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, IT, Education, Tourism and Hospitality, Human Resources, Law, or related fields.
Experience
- Proven knowledge and experience in at least two of the following sectors: manufacturing (including agro processing), construction, tourism, ICT/digitalization and green economy.
- Prior experience in similar assignments in EU and World Bank funded projects including organization assessment and due diligence will be an added advantage.
- At least three years of experience in organizational assessments, due diligence, organizational and financial audit, or related areas.
