PSFU AWARDS CORPORATE COMPANIES AND BUSINESS ASSOCIATIONS

PSFU with support from Barnard van Leer Foundation  has awarded the excelling Corporate Companies in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. In addition, PSFU also awarded the best performing business Associations. MTN emerged as the winner of the CSR Award and Uganda Insurers Association as the winner of the Business Association Award.

The event took place at Serena Hotel and was attended by various stakeholders.

PSFU together with Bernard Van Leer Foundation recorganised the need to integrate children's programmes in private sector activities in Uganda. That is why it came up with the CSR award for Corporate Social Companies. PSFU for the last 4 years has been recorganising best performing business associations in Uganda which have excelled in good governance and association management. In 2010, Uganda Insurers Association was the Nation winner for the Private Sector Development Awards.
